The Leymona stands in a lemon grove, right by the sea. Diners sit under green-leafed trees with bright yellow fruit and white blossom, while the air is delicately perfumed with the scent of lemons.
You will be hard-pressed to find a better-located restaurant anywhere in Kas.
The Leymona is an idyllic place off the tourist track, with a location like no other and cuisine to match. A Turkish restaurant without kebabs, offering instead Mediterranean delicacies, classic dishes from the region of Anatolia, fish specialities and much else besides.
Fresh vegetables, salads served with lemon, olive oil and pomegranate vinegar, fresh fish and seafood, tender lamb – and the list goes on. «The way to the heart is through the stomach» is an old Turkish saying that the Leymona pays particular heed to.
By day...
...Leymona Beach is a place for relaxation, sunbathing, enjoying a read, or for just hanging around and letting your batteries recharge – interspersed with the occasional refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, perhaps with a spot of swimming or snorkelling thrown in. Enjoy a sundowner after about 5 pm, when the Leymona begins to get ready for the evening ahead.
